The stand over is 34 7/8 in.
This bike checks all the boxes for a full loaded tourer---40 spoke rear wheel---3 water bottle stations---mid fork braze ons---canti lever brakes---double eyelets on each fork for fender and rack mounts---long chainstays for comfort and to allow the heel clearance so it does not hit the panniers---triple chain rings---ample clearance for fenders.
Bike is a 21 speed with Suntour components, indexed shifting for the rear and ratcheting friction for the front.
New parts---new tires---new chain---new rim strips.
Bike has been 100% overhauled.
I always list what a complete overhaul is---both wheels trued---both hubs overhauled---both pedals---bottom bracket---headset---freewheel---rear derailleur.
Most peoples overhauls do not include pedals---freewheel---or rear derailleur. But mine does.
Also seems like most people take short cuts and only oil the freewheel, they come from the factory with grease, not oil.
Bike was also washed and waxed, even the skewers get waxed.
I replaced the bottom bracket spindle, and resurfaced one cone in one of the pedals, the rest of the bearing surfaces are all smooth.
I have the original Schwinn owners manual, and the computer that came on the bike.
Paint and graphics are about a 9.5 out of 10.
This was the last year of the full loaded touring Voyageur.
Many people buy touring bikes and use them for commuters and never get to do full loaded multi state tours.
