The Messer Attachments Sand Spreader gets the job done! This attachment can spread anything from sand, salt, grass, seed, fertilizer, lime, and more up to 35’ (depending on density of material). The self-loading hopper holds up to 10 cubic ft and features a ½”x4” cutting edge on the front. All you need to do to fill it is, tilt it down like a bucket and scoop right into the pile. The heavy-duty top grate is made of ¼” thick bars stood on end that will also cut any frozen pieces down to size. The Sand Spreader can be used anywhere, from spreading sand/salt in parking lots during winter, sand in the alleys of dairy barns for traction, to the field spreading fertilizer or grass seed, and so on.
