We would like to find a retirement location for 6 months a year to plant a chestnut grove and enjoy wildlife. Ideally a mix of woods, pasture, and tillable ground. We are not hunters and will not be present during season so hunting rights could be granted to someone in exchange for looking after the property when we are not present. Tillable ground can be utilized by seller moving forward or by another local farmer. Not looking to harvest any timber and willing to put land in permanent conservation easement but would like ability to erect small home and barn. Would be interested in existing dwellings if not in need of major repairs.
